The MTG SYSTEMS / PROMET product family is growing and welcomes three new heavy-duty lip shroud options for TERRA cast lips. The references 4MX1CL116T-X, 4MX1CL136T-X and 4MX7CL169T-X will complement the current lip shroud range and extend the application possibilities of the TERRA cast lips TM1-116, TM1-136 and TM7-169. In addition to the existing lip shroud options (P) that focus primarily on penetration to increase productivity, the new heavy-duty lip shrouds (X) provide high resistance against higher levels of abrasion and impact, while maintaining good levels of penetration to ensure optimum productivity in more demanding applications.

In heavy-duty applications, the TERRA cast lips TM1-116 and TM1-136 are suitable for hydraulic excavators like the EX3600* or CAT6040* while the TM7-169 cast lip is the optimal solution for the biggest mining excavators such as the PC8000*, RH400* or CAT6090*.

Both existing and new PROMET lip shrouds for TERRA cast lips use the renowned, hammerless PROMET III locking that provides safe, quick, and easy change-outs from top.

The two new PROMET heavy-duty lip shrouds 4MX1CL116T-X and 4MX7CL169T-X are ready to be ordered while the 4MX1CL136T-X will follow and will be available in 2024.
