The MTG CAST LIPS / TERRA family has two new versions for bucket widths of 140'' and 185''. These new cast lips complete the TERRA range that now offers a total of 9 available configurations for mining excavators.

The Cast Lip TERRA option with 140” / 3560 mm width has 6 positions and is MTG’s widest cast lip option in size 1. It is therefore compatible with the 2-part TWINMET 1 tooth system that is suitable for mining excavators with an operating weight of 250 – 400 t such as models EX3600*, PC4000* or CAT6040*.

The Cast Lip TERRA with 185” / 4700 mm width has 6 positions and can be equipped with the 3-part TWINMET tooth system in size 5 (5/4 and 5/6). It is especially suitable for the PC7000* mining excavator with an operating weight of 700 t.

Both of the new TERRA cast lips allow us to expand our offer while preserving the benefits of the TERRA family: Higher productivity, reduced operational costs, longer operational time, and shorter downtime.
