MTG is proud to announce the completion of the VEEMET product range with the introduction of sizes 40, 30, and 20. These new additions will be available within the coming months and are designed specifically for smaller construction excavators and loaders working in civil engineering tasks such as road construction, foundation work, and the development of public spaces.


For Excavators and Loaders with an Operating Weight of 10-40t

The maximum break-out-forces for standard applications range from 140kN to 220kN, which are suitable for excavators and loaders with an operating weight of 10t to 40t. In this category, the VEEMET size allocations are consistent with those of the STARMET models, ensuring a smooth and straightforward transition when upgrading from STARMET to VEEMET.

Maximum Break-Out-Forces (BOF) in Standard Applications and Machine Operating Weights per size:

• VEEMET 20: BOF up to 140 kN (STD) / Operating Weight of 10-25t
• VEEMET 30: BOF up to 175 kN (STD) / Operating Weight of 20-30t
• VEEMET 40: BOF up to 220 kN (STD) / Operating Weight of 25-40t


Comprehensive VEEMET product range

With a total of 10 sizes, from 20 to 500, the VEEMET range delivers a robust portfolio of over 200 product references. The range includes multiple plate lip solutions designed to meet the specific needs of the construction, quarrying, and mining industries. Customers can choose from six adapter types, 13 tooth designs, and six wear protection options, offering flexibility and durability for any type of digging application.


Availabilities of new VEEMET sizes:

Below you will find the availability schedule of the new VEEMET sizes 40, 30, and 20, across our global business units. In the EAME region, size 40 will be available from October 2024, followed by size 30 in November and size 20 in December. In NAFTA, LATAM, and AUS regions, availability will commence from December 2024 through February 2025, with specific dates subject to local logistics and transport conditions.
