The new wear shrouds lengthen the wear life of StarMet cast corners in high abrasion applications. With an application similar to the one already available for central adapters, the new models have been designed to be welded onto size 240 and 500 mining excavators.

The basic shroud (4MA240/500CC HD-B) is used for both sizes (240 and 500) and also on both sides (left and right) of the cast corner. The wing shroud (4MA240/500CC HD-L) is also compatible with both sizes and both sides.
