We are extending our range of lateral bucket protectors with specific protectors for Heavy Mining applications.

In addition to the general advantages of our ProMet lateral protector range:

 

Safety: No hammer is required preventing accidents when assembling and disassembling. Comfort: less effort is required than with traditional systems with a hammer. Easier and faster: changing the elements of the system can be completed much easier and more quickly. Excellent retention: the pin retention system always keeps the pin in its initial position, completely preventing losing the shrouds

The new range of lateral protectors for heavy duty applications incorporates:
 

1. Optimal redistribution of wear material. (fig. 1 & 2) 

2. Optimized ratio of wear material vs. Weight (70% wear material) 

3. Greater protection in the legs and locking device (fig. 1)

4. Expand the contact area that offers less plastic deformation in the lateral protectors. (fig. 2) 

5. Small and lightweight weldable base.

In addition to providing understanding and knowledge of the new references, we have created a new more intuitive coding, incorporating practical data in the reference code.

This nomenclature that we are launching now for Promet lateral, we will also be implementing in upcoming Promet lip launches for the purposes of homogenizing the information and codes in the entire Promet range.

NOTE: With the launch of new heavy duty protectors, the current reference 4MXB90X626 will stay valid and the reference 4MXB60X626 will be sold only as a spare part in already existing facilities.
