This event, held from 22 to 25 October and organized by the city's prestigious polo circle, brought together riders from the five continents. In addition to the competition itself, open-air workshops and various cultural activities were held.
As ever, this year the event was a meeting place for important figures not just from the equestrian world but also from important industries such as mining, energy and natural resources, finance and others, making it one of the most anticipated events of the year in the Congolese city. In the competition, Zimbabwe-born rider Charley Crockart, riding 'Valiant Prince', was the winner, ending David Malta Forrest's three-year reign.
