| In line with our commitment to renewable energies, we are proud to announce that our production plant in Premià de Mar (Barcelona), was supplied 100% by renewable energy sources in 2012. MTG has been awarded an allocation of renewable energy certificate from energy operator EDP. This document verifies that during 2012, EDP redeemed 14,924,823.63 kilowatts-hour (KWh), corresponding to 100% of the supply of the plant and obtained exclusively from renewable energy sources. The awarding of this certificate, together with our ISO 9001 quality accreditation and 14001 environmental accreditation, certifies our commitment to quality and safety at all levels, and validates us as one of the cleanest foundries in Europe. |
