Between the 23rd and 28th of April, MTG participated of international construction and infrastructure fair INTERMAT, which was held at the Paris Nord Villepinte Exhibition Centre, in Paris. According to official numbers released by the organisation, 1,400 exhibitors and 173,300 attendees participated of the event during the six days it lasted, and despite the general strike that affected France throughout the week.
MTG had a 100m2 stand, which is double the surface space it had in the last edition of INTERMAT. It was located in the Earthmoving and Demolition expertise hub, near the central corridor, and it was very well received; it was divided into different areas that facilitated interaction with visitors (see video).
Similarly, MTG presented its star products for construction applications by means of displays showing the StarMet and ProMet systems, teeth-adapter system and mechanical blade and side protection shrouds, both featuring an MTG Twist hammerless locking system. MTG also displayed part of its wide range of sizes and designs covering different applications and needs for the construction sector, among which we would like to highlight the new StarMet tooth designs, featuring a Standard “S” type profile in sizes 40 and 50, presented in public for the first time.
The construction sector, growing in EMEA
Every three years, INTERMAT gathers contractors, manufacturers, suppliers of equipment and solutions and distributors from the EMEA area in order to present them with the latest innovations in the construction sector.
According to data provided by the organisation, more than 3,000 business interactions took place, reinforcing the clear signs of economic recuperation and the appropriate climate that exists to generate construction sector business in EMEA. The next edition of INTERMAT will take place in 2021.
