Comprehensive solutions for mining loaders

MTG completes its range of bucket shrouds with new designs and products for mining loaders.

In keeping with the strategy of developing comprehensive bucket shroud solutions, MTG expands its MTG Systems ProMet and MTG Plus range to include new mechanical shroud (lip ProMet and ProMet lateral) and bolt-on shroud (half-arrow) designs.

These new products have been designed to improve productivity of mining loaders and, together with the excavator designs that are already in existence, complete MTG's ample bucket shroud range.

The new ProMet lip shrouds for mining loaders are equipped with a fully hammerless system and an optimized design which, whether used in conjunction with excavators or loaders, provide better lip protection, improving penetration and offering up to 30% more wear material when compared to the equivalent model offered by the competition.

The new ProMet lateral shrouds are also equipped with a hammerless system, and depending on their application, they offer the following features:

The new 4MYL50U1000 and 4MYL60U1000 references are designed specifically for standard applications, they are longer in order to provide increased protection of the bucket's side, furthermore, the wear material ratio is above 70% (compared to the current lateral protectors LA/LS) and they are reversible (sides rotate), allowing for changing positions, thus increasing wear life.

The 4MY60U550X reference is specifically designed for heavy duty applications (heavy machinery), and offers an optimum distribution of wear materials and improved protection for legs and locking devices, as well as a wide contact area which provides less plastic deformity to the side of the shroud.

As well as protecting the front of the lip, the new "half arrow" bolt-on shrouds for mining loaders offer increased wear material to the lower part and holes of increased diameter to facilitate screw assembly.
