Ground Engaging Tools (GET) are not just steel parts anymore. MTG has turned them into intelligent, next generation components that help you make data-driven decisions and perform in-depth analyses of your digging operations. DIGGING INSIGHTS™ is our new of innovative digital products and services that can be combined with our GET systems offering you increased safety, efficiency, and productivity. All MTG digital solutions are developed in-house to achieve the perfect symbiosis between tough and smart digging.
The first series: GET DETECTION
The first series of the DIGGING INSIGHTS suite is GET DETECTION. This system enables real-time GET monitoring as well as data driven GET analysis. Through immediate GET detachment alerts within 3 seconds, you can prevent GET components from entering the crusher, avoiding costly and hazardous crusher repairs. Furthermore, GET DETECTION autonomously tracks GET change-outs, overall consumption and the entire history of detachment incidents. This allows for an in-depth analysis of your GET performance, helping you optimize your digging operations and improve GET forecasting.
Compatible GET Solutions
Entire cast lip, plate lip and rope shovel lip configurations can optionally be equipped with GET DETECTION. The following next-generation tooth systems are compatible and allow a full-bucket monitoring:
- TERRA cast lips
- TWINMET 2-part or 3-part tooth system for cast lips and plate lips
- VEEMET tooth system for plate lips
