As is usual, MTG and TMS attended Mining Indaba in Cape Town (South Africa) in February, with a re-vamped stand design. 

Our customers and visitors at the stand were able to see a blade equipped with different models of teeth for mining loaders and excavators. They were also able to enjoy media showcasing MTG's production process and end user success stories.

During the event, hailed as one of the most influential meeting points of the mining industry on the continent, representatives from both companies had the opportunity to attend the different conferences and presentations given by some of the leaders and representatives of mining groups such as Anglo American, Glencore, Rio Tinto and South 32, among others. The general message transmitted by the speakers is optimism, despite having to deal with regulatory changes that affect the industry. Sustainability held an outstanding place in the event's agenda, which is entirely appropriate if we take into account the severe and prolonged drought Cape Town is facing.
