Furthering our range of mechanical shrouds for mining, we have a new design especially adapted to extreme and high impact applications.

The new 4MA500M-A mechanical shroud (wear cap) for mining, has been specially designed for high compaction and impact applications. To this end, the top zone and the radius of the workpiece have been reinforced, providing more wear material, and ensuring maximum strength and protection for the adapter.
This new wear cap is compatible with the StarMet WC central adapter for all size 500 thicknesses. In addition, it is especially recommended for applications where compaction affects the area between the adapter guides and the wear cap; extreme compaction applications might open the "legs" of wear cap, which can lead to breakage.
