In this new version of the wear cap, the 4MA180MS, we have increased the part’s central crevice, allowing for assembly compatibility both in straddle adapters 1MA180WS90/1MA180WS100 and cast corner adapters 1MA180WL90/1MA180WR90.

Thanks to this crevice, the StarMet wear cap is capable of reaching the end of the guides while avoiding collision with the cast corner adapter’s central nerve. This allows for improved protection of the adapter, lengthening its wear life.
