In the last few months of 2018, we collaborated with our distributors RAE, Hiot, Metso and 2MT in a number of construction and mining sector events.

Our distributor RAE was present at the SIM trade fair, which took place in Clermont-Ferrand, France, between the 17th and the 19th of October 2018. The event is aimed at mining sector professionals, and this year it reported a 11% increase in the number of exhibits and 30% more visitors when compared to the previous edition - 3,500 visitors attended the trade fair during the 3 days it lasted. The MTG exhibitor featured the StarMet system, the ProMet wing and blade shrouds and the RipMet system for bulldozers.

In turn, French distributor Hiot was present at construction sector trade fair Artibat on the 24th, 25th and 26th of October 2018 in Rennes. Hiot presented MTG’s StarMet range of products for the construction sector.

MTG’s official distributor for Brazil Metso participated in M&T Expo held in São Paulo between the 26th and 29th of November. M&T Expo forms part of the bauma Network, it features more than 400 exhibitors, receives some 45,000 visitors and is considered a gathering of reference in the Latin American mining and construction sector markets. MTG’s presence was marked by its construction sector products - the StarMet system in particular.

Our official distributor for Australia 2MT participated in mining sector trade fair The Worthy Parts Industry Link Auction and Expo, which was held in Kalgoorlie between the 3rd and 4th of December and is also centred around the mining sector. We collaborated in the event by providing displays showing our range of mining products, including the StarMet hammerless locking system, RipMet for bulldozers and TwinMet for heavy mining projects.
