Between the 4th and the 7th of June 2019, we showed our support towards our Russian dealer Professional at Ugol Rossii and Mining 2019, one of the most important mining trade fairs in Russia, held in Novokuznetsk. The event is held annually and serves as a meeting point for the area’s mine directors, technicians, engineers and miners.
On the same dates, MTG was also present at the Dredging Summit & Expo ‘19 trade fair, which gathers the main dredging companies of North and South America. Organised annually by WEDA (Western Dredging Association), this year for the very first time the event was held in Chicago, Illinois, and more than 500 professionals were in attendance. During the exposition, we were able to present our in-house manufactured MTG Cutterheads, equipped with the DMet tooth and adapter system.
Additionally, between the 6th and the 7th of June 2019, we were present at the 34th annual edition of Elko Mining Expo, held in the US State of Nevada. This mining event was attended by our official dealer Interwest Supply Company, who set up displays of our MTG Systems StarMet, StarMet Rope Shovels and ProMet.
In the month of June, between the 6th and the 9th, we also supported our dealer in Asturias (Spain) Maprinsa at the Vegadeo trade fair. The multi-sector event receives more than 70,000 visitors every year.
In addition, we also wanted to support our dealer for the United Kingdom ITS Trac at the Plant Worx trade fair, where they presented displays for our StarMet and RipMet systems. The event was held in Peterborough between the 11th and the 13th of June, and had more than 450 exhibitors, it was organised by the CEA (Construction Equipment Association) and showed a 20% growth in attendance when compared to the previous year.
Also in the month of June, on the 21st, the Annual AEXCA (Asociación de Excavadores de Cantabria) Convention was held in the facilities of our new Spanish dealer, Adal. The convention represented an outstanding opportunity for supporting them and showcasing our range of products.
On the 1st of August, our dealer for the United Kingdom Ken Malcolm was present at the Black Isle Show, the largest agricultural event in Northern Scotland, in the town of Muir of Ord.
This frenetic event season culminated between the 29th and the 31st of August, with the participation of our dealer Entrack Sweden in Load Up North, Umeå. The trade fair is considered to be a reference in construction in the North of Sweden, and it gathers businesspeople, buyers, collaborators and those interested in the sector on an annual basis.
