After more than 60 years designing and producing wear parts for earthmoving machinery and almost 30 years supplying protection systems for the dredging sector’s most prominent projects, in June we delivered our cutterhead number 10, fully designed and developed by MTG.

During the 90s, MTG started supplying standard designs for the dredging market, and more than 10 years ago, the company developed the patented MTG Systems DMet system, specifically designed in collaboration with some of the world’s top dredgers with the objective of increasing the cutter’s protection and productivity. 2016 saw the entry into operation of the cutterhead manufacturing unit located in MTG’s plant in Monzón (Huesca). 

Thanks to the ample experience acquired over the last 30 years, MTG has managed to cement a reputation as a partner of reference for dredging companies throughout the world and to position its cutterheads as the best in the market in terms of quality and finishes.   

In addition to the design and production of cutterheads, MTG offers a repair and adapter change service in its installations and adapter technical assessment services at client facilities.

MTG’s busy Monzón plant has numerous projects underway, and the company continues to face new challenges and seeks to innovate by providing solutions aimed at maximising its client’s productivity. These innovations include new designs and sizes as well as new manufacturing methods and technological solutions that allow for improved control and follow-up of the products’ performance.
