Between the 25th and the 28th of June, MTG attended Dredging Summit & Expo'18, an event that gathers the main dredging companies of North and South America on an annual basis. Organised by WEDA (Western Dredging Association) in Norfolk, Virginia, the event boasted more than 80 exhibits and 400 attendees, mainly members of the association, representatives of dredging companies, as well as owners and suppliers of vessels and equipment.

MTG participated with its own stand, as Gold Sponsor. During the course of the event, MTG presented its comprehensive range of dredging products, among which we would like to highlight the in-house manufactured cutterhead, featuring a DMet tooth and adapter, which is reporting outstanding results in the market, as well as the StarMet system, comprising teeth and adapters for hopper dredgers, clamshells and backhoes.

A consolidated presence in the American continent

MTG Corp, the operative headquarters based in Houston to cover North American needs, already boasts a noteworthy penetration in the construction and mining sectors, markets that represent a sizeable business volume.

Without a shadow of doubt, the convention has been of much interest to MTG, whose business unit for the dredging sector - which has a specialised engineering and technical assistance team - hopes to also reaffirm its position in the American marketplace.
