The new shroud can be used on any welded corner adapter in sizes 500 and 240, be they central adapters used in the corner of the bucket, scissor corner adapters (straddle) or standard corner adapters (cast corner). |

The MTG Systems StarMet mechanical shroud’s position is interchangeable and secured using guides to the adapter, being supported by the side of the bucket while at the same time protecting it. Its design protects both the upper part of the adapter and the bottom of the side of the bucket. In addition, it is mechanically attached to the adapter and does not need any kind of locking system, so it is a product that is easy to install and change. It only requires two weldable bases (“stopper”) to stabilise its position. |

This mechanical protector is compatible with the range of StarMet adapters in sizes 240 and 500, and for blade edges measuring 70 mm and 90 mm thick respectively.
